James Leibold is an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Politics, Media and Philosophy at La Trobe University in Melbourne Australia, and a Council member of the Australian Asian Studies Association. Matthew Erie is an Associate Professor of Modern Chinese Studies at the University of Oxford. Agnieszka Joniak-Lüthi is Assistant Professor at the Department of Social Anthropology and Cultural Studies at Zurich University and heads the research project “ROADWORK: An Anthropology of Infrastructure at China’s Inner Asian Borders.”
