Kathryn Robinson is a former president of the Asian Studies Association of Australia, and an anthropologist and professor at the Australian National University’s College of Asia & the Pacific. She has a long interest in Indonesia. She is Southeast and East Asia editor of the Encyclopedia of Women in Islamic Cultures, published online by Brill.
