Margaret Kartomi

Margaret J. Kartomi is Emeritus Professor at Monash University in Melbourne, specialising in Musicology and Ethnomusicology. She was elected a Fellow of the Australian Academy of the Humanities in 1984, made a Member of the Order of Australia in 1991, and received the Cultural Award for Contributions to Traditional Indonesian Music from Indonesia's Ministry of Education and Culture in 2016.
