Dr Elly Kent is a Lecturer in Indonesian Studies at UNSW Canberra. Dr Kent is the author of 'Artists and the People: Ideologies of Indonesian Art' (NUS Press, 2022), and co-editor (with Emeritus Professor Virginia Hooker and Dr Caroline Turner) of ‘Living Art: Indonesian Artists Engage Politics, Society and History’ (ANU Press, 2023).
