La Trobe University has recently launched a second mid-year scholarship round targeting students who are ready to get started on a graduate research degree at La Trobe. Applications close on 31 July 2022 and successful applicants can commence at any time up to 30 September 2022.
The round is open to Australian or NZ citizens, Australian permanent residents, and international applicants who are currently onshore in Australia. In addition to RTP Scholarships and La Trobe Graduate Research Scholarships, Research Equity Scholarships, and Dennis McDermott Research Scholarships for Indigenous students are advertised – all at the new stipend rate – along with project-based scholarships.
In the field of Asian Studies, we particularly welcome students to apply with research projects in the areas of Japanese, Chinese and South Asian Studies, while in the Department of Politics, Media and Philosophy we welcome projects on Indonesian, Korean and Chinese politics.
