The “Rare Treasures from Indonesia” exhibition is now showing at the Margaret Kartomi Gallery of Musical Instruments and Artefacts. “Rare Treasurers of Indonesia” showcases the Music Archive of Monash University’s collections of musical instruments and artefacts from Central Java, West Java, Aceh, North Sumatra, Lampung and the Riau Islands, and its most famous treasure, the Gamelan Digul.
The exhibition has free entry Monday – Fridays, 9:00am to 5:00pm. It is located at the Monash University Performing Arts Centre, Building 68, 55 Scenic Boulevard, Clayton Campus.
