The Asian Studies Association of Australia Structure

Asian Studies Association of Australia (ASAA) activities are organised by an Executive and a Council as outlined in its Constitution. The executive consists of office bearers, a publications officer and the editor of Asian Studies Review. The council includes representatives covering five geographic areas in Asia, as well as general councillors, conference conveners and postgraduate and library representatives. Executive and council members are elected by secret ballot every two years.

The ASAA is incorporated in Victoria. Membership is open to anyone willing to abide by the association’s objectives as outlined in the Constitution.
